Teresa Slobuski is the liaison librarian for Elementary Education, Special Education, and Social Work at San Jose State University. She also serves as the librarian for San Jose State’s nascent Learning and Games Education Initiative and manages Game Day at your Library on campus. Slobuski completed her master’s degree in Library and Information Science at Rutgers University. Her undergraduate degree in English is from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She conducts research on a variety of topics such as the impact of non-text media on information retrieval, children’s literature, and educational technology topics, especially the use of games as educational tools.
